Betty Jo “BJ” Fancher has been a practicing Physician Assistant since 1991 after graduating from the Medical College of Georgia. She has pursued sports medicine/orthopedics, family practice as well as psychiatry. It’s important to treat the individual in a holistic manner, including mind, body, and soul, and individualize their treatment plan goals.
BJ recently completed her Doctorate of Medical Science and Master of Psychopharmacology Program to increase knowledge to provide patients with the best evidence-based science.
BJ was born and raised in Iowa, she met her Tennessee spouse in Alabama and has been in Georgia for 30 years. They live in Pike County and have a small hobby farm. They have 2 grown children and one daughter in law. When not at work, BJ enjoys crafting, quilting and her spouse enjoys woodworking, and chair making.
